Make a funny cake for the bride to be ! ! !

I have a lot of requests for Hen-Night-Cakes, or like we say in Croatia "Torta za djevojačku večer"

But for the circumstance, that you would like to make your own cake (whether in Split or not!) I was thinking about making a tutorial for you.

A Hen-Night-Cake-Decoration-Tutorial !

I´m a professional cake designer, so I have a lot of equipment and tools for making cake decorations, obviously an average houshold haven´t, so I write the tutorial like everybody is able to do these decoration without buying any equipment.

Let´s get started making a funny cake-decoration for your friend, who will have her last night out as a single...!

What you will need:

60 gramms of sugarpaste or modelling marzipan (skin coloured)
black food pen
sharp small knife
thoothpick
paint brush
some water

Step 1

Take the 60 gramms sugarpaste or modelling marzipan and roll it into

1 big ball
2 smaller balls
2 small ropes
1 small egg shape

STEP 2

Take the big ball and shape it into a cylindric shape

STEP 3

Take the small oval shape and modify it into a flat circle. Glue the circle with some water (use the brush) on the top of the cylinder. Now you need to flaten the edges of the circle along the top of the cylinder, so that you get a smooth "cap"

STEP 4

Take a toothpick and press a small hole in the middle of the "cap" and further draw, with the toothpick, a line from the top to the bottom of the "cap".

Take the two small balls and press them together. Cut off the excess and glue them, with some water, on the cylinder.

STEP 5

For the arms/hands, take the 2 small ropes and roll into a cone shape. Flatten the thicker end softly with your finger. Take the knife and cscarve 3 times into the flat end. Shape the fingers and glue the arms to the body!

STEP 6

Now the body of your "little friend" is finished. Take the black food pen and draw him a face to your choice, if required you draw him some hair as well.

Here we go with our sweet little friend...

You can make him some friends with different facial expressions with changing the shapes of the eyes, browns and mouth and different gestures with changing the position of the arms and hands... there are no limits... no it´s your turn...
